Air is real

I experience air much differently now that I'm an experienced paraglider.

Air is real.

I look at the clouds all the time. They tell me what's happening in the atmosphere around me. I care about that even when I'm not flying.

It's not a big deal to fall a few hundred feet. I don't really think about falling anymore, just flying. Of course it's only the last few feet that matter. That's so often true in life. We're worried all the time about the last few feet. But we're flying and there's plenty of time. If we worry about the last few feet we'll miss what's right in front of us. If we miss what's in front of us those last few feet really will matter.

We create our own reality, along with everything around us.

This blog is about what's going on around me, not the last few feet. It's not about flying. It's about living. I love being present. I love now. I love truth, beauty, joy. I love love. Everything else is the last few feet.

I feel the air. It's thick.
